The Australian Nurses Memorial Centre is pleased to host a Women’s Self-Defence Workshop with Anne Pang.

Anne first began training in 1974 in the art of Wing Chun Kung Fu, the only martial art invented by a female, one of the most efficient and effective styles of self defence. Winning multiple awards, Anne is fully qualified and has been conducting her own self-defence courses in Melbourne since 1990.

This collaboration with Anne came about through a discussion on safety for nurses while attending to patients and travelling to and from work. The intention is to provide nurses with basic self-defence skills and techniques.

The workshop will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM on Saturday 5 August 2023 at the Australian Nurses Memorial Centre, 11/431 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne (enter via Slater St).

The cost of the workshop is $10.00 for ANMC members and $40.00 for non-members. Payment is via EFT (083-155 / 51 555 6999) or contact the ANMC office to pay via credit card on 0429 602 144.
